Supreme Scrap Tournament 2014

I have decided to take part in a international competition for the first time. Lots of talented girls so I probably won't have a chance. This was the first challenge:

Scrapbooking: 1000 steps from home
Make a double layout or double mixed media project that shows where your live. 
But it all has to be within 1000 steps from your home!!!!
For example you could make photos of your favorite tree, busstop, house as long it is within 1000 steps of your home!

- You can not use any spray inkts!
- You will have to use at least 3 photos on your project (scrapbooking and mixed media!!)
- You will have to add a visible journaling of at least 50 words

I've created the background mostly with gesso, Neo color and some stamps.

The pictures shows the park, my bus stop, the grocery store and the entrance to my house.

My journaling in 51 words describes how grey and boring my neighborhood looks, especially now when all the snow is gone and we haven't seen the sun for two months. I like that it's close to everything though, the playground, the grocery store, the bus stop and the forest where I take my daily walk.
